2023 Subaru Ascent Trims
While the Subaru Ascent technically has eight different trim levels to choose from, we've consolidated it into six trim levels for you here. That's because the Premium and the Limited both have a seven-seat and an eight-seat configuration in a different trim level, but everything else is the same.

Base Model
As a base model vehicle, you might think that the Subaru Ascent doesn't come with much. That's simply not the case. While it's a base model vehicle it comes with tons of features you'll love.
Of course, all-wheel drive is standard with a Subaru, but the 2023 Subaru Ascent Base comes with EyeSight technology, brake assist technology, high beam assist, front and second-row USB-A and SUB-C ports, and a rearview camera. With the Base trim level, you can only get the eight-seat configuration, which means no second-row captain seats.

Premium
One step up from the Base trim level is the Premium level. Subaru splits this trim level into two options, but the only difference between the two is whether you want a seven-seat configuration with second-row captain seats or an eight-seat configuration with bench seats in the second row.
The Premium comes with everything the base model has, but it has a few extra features we're sure you'll love. First, the exterior mirrors are the same color as the rest of the vehicle, and the mirrors include integrated turn signals.
It also replaces the manual driver seat adjustment controls with power ones, it has heated front seats if you go with the all-weather package, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, stain-resistant cloth upholstery throughout, 4G LTE Wi-Fi capabilities, and second-row climate controls.

Onyx Edition
One step up from the Premium trim level is the Onyx Edition. It's the first trim level with a power moonroof and you go from 18" wheels to 20" ones. Other upgrades include LED fog lights, a heated steering wheel, and standard reverse automatic braking.
Finally, the Onyx Edition and the Onyx Edition trim levels are the only options with a few unique features like crystal black silica-finished folding side mirrors with integrated turn signals and StarTex water-repellent upholstery.

Onyx Edition Limited
The Onyx Edition Limited is really a cross-between the Onyx Edition and the Premium trim levels. It gives you everything the Premium trim level offers, but it also gives you all the unique exterior and interior features of the Onyx Edition.

Touring
The 2023 Ascent Touring is the top trim level out there, and as such it comes with all the premium and luxury features. You can only get the Touring in the seven-seat configuration, but other than that you can get just about whatever you want.
The Touring trim has 20" wheels, chrome door handles, power-folding side mirrors, ventilated front seats, and Nappa leather-trimmed upholstery all come standard.Â
Advanced technological features include an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, a 120-volt power outlet, a Navigation system, and a standard Harman Kardon audio system.
