First let's take a look at the performance and engine options of these vehicles. Under the hood of the 2023 Impreza, you can find a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine gives you 152-horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a five-speed manual transmission standard, but there is an available continuously variable automatic transmission. This vehicle also offers you all-wheel drive standard. For fuel efficiency, you can expect to get up to 28 city and 36 highway miles per gallon.

The 2023 Crosstrek has two different engine options for you. The base engine is the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 152-horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque that is found in the Impreza. However, there is one more available engine option. This available option is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that gives you 182-horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. The Crosstrek, like most Subarus, also comes standard with all-wheel drive. It has a six-speed manual transmission standard in the base model, but there is a continuously variable automatic transmission available. In terms of fuel efficiency, you can get up to 28 city and 33 highway miles per gallon with the base engine, and around 27 city and 34 highway miles per gallon with the 2.5-liter engine.

Also, the Crosstrek does offer you a few extra features like 8.7-inches of ground clearance and a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds. The Subaru Crosstrek is also capable of light off-roading with X-MODE and Hill Descent Control to give you extra traction.
