First, let's look at how these vehicles perform for you in terms of engine options, fuel efficiency, and any performance features.

When it comes to the engine options in the Subaru Crosstrek, you have two different options. This vehicle has a base engine that is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that provides you with 152-horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. Your second engine option is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that gives you 182-horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. Both engines give you standard all-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission.

When it comes to fuel efficiency, your best option is the base engine that gives you 27 city and 34 highway miles per gallon. Your second engine option is similar but slightly less at 26 city and 33 highway miles per gallon. Your Subaru Crosstrek can also give you some light off-roading capability with 8.7 inches of ground clearance on its standard model and up to 9.3 inches on its Wilderness trim. The Wilderness trim also offers you an upgraded suspension and all-terrain tires. You also have a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds in the 2024 Crosstrek.

The Subaru Impreza is found with the same two engine options. This vehicle also comes standard with the 2.0-liter engine, but if you upgrade to the RS trim, you can get the engine with more horsepower.
