For 2024, we aren't going to see a major engine upgrade or replacement from last year, considering this has already recently happened. Instead, drivers can expect the WRX to boast a 2.4-liter flat-four-cylinder engine with 271 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.

Moreover, drivers will see the WRX TR edition model offers Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, which makes it an even more impressive performance vehicle. 

Drivers will also see the 2024 WRX have either a six-speed manual or a continuously variable automatic transmission, with the CVT transmission boasting a faster 0-60 MPH time of 5.4 seconds. That said, the manual transmission hits 60 MPH in 5.5 seconds, so this doesn't make a *major* difference.
