The all-new sixth-generation compact 2025 Forester model is now available on Subaru Dealership sales floors and is sure to excite shoppers looking for the perfect small SUV.

Read on as we share the 2025 Subaru Forester's trim lineup and the packages available to elevate the Subaru experience further.

Exterior Design

The 2025 model is still instantly recognizable as a Forester, with a modernized exterior style along with an updated and stiffened chassis for more composed handling.

For 2025 the Forester shows new side windows and flared wheel wells finished with black wheel arch trims, handy to ward off stray shopping trolleys. The large front grille sees a thin chrome line featuring the Subaru badge running through it that connects the LED Steering Responsive Headlights. A highly visible band of LED daytime running lights is located above the headlamps.

Alloy wheels and Raised roof rails are found across all trim levels and befitting of its off-road credentials, 8.7 inches of ground clearance is on offer.

The 2025 Forester is available in a choice of ten exterior paint colors.

Interior

The Forester seats five passengers accommodated in two-seat rows. For 2025 passenger space has grown and the cabin environment is quieter thanks to cabin upgrades.

Premium soft-touch materials are used with upholstery available in cloth, synthetic leather, premium leather, or suede across the different trim levels.

Interior design highlights include the textured trim of the passenger-side dash featuring hexagonal shapes mimicking the shape of the Forester's side glass.

Plentiful trim-dependent upgrades are available, adding to the generous list of standard interior appointments that include:

Cargo Space

All trim levels offer 27.5 cubic feet load space growing to 69.9 cubic feet by folding the 60/40 split rear seats down and the Forester Base trim offering 29.6 cubic feet load space and 74.4 cubic feet with rear seats folded down.

Drivetrain

Subaru's iconic 2.5-liter, four-cylinder boxer engine making 180 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque is standard in the 2025 Forester as is a Lineartronic CVT coupled with Subaru's Symmetrical All Wheel Drive system.

The AWD system features a Variable Torque Distribution that uses electronically controlled clutches to control the torque split.

The 2025 Forester can tow up to a maximum of 1,500 pounds.

Safety and Driver Assistance

The new 2025 Subaru Forester offers a comprehensive suite of safety equipment such as:

• Eight airbags
• Height-adjustable head restraints for all seats
• Ring-shaped reinforcement frame
• Automated emergency braking
• Adaptive cruise control

• Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control
• Auto-up/auto-down driver's window with anti-pinch protection
• Center console with rear storage box, illuminated front storage tray, and dual cup holders

Infotainment on the Base trim is a SUBARU STARLINK Dual 7.0-inch Multimedia system with high-resolution LCD touch-screen multi-touch gesture displays. Standard is Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration along with SiriusXM® and SiriusXM® Travel Link®.

An AM/FM stereo, HD Radio®, four speakers as well as USB-A input port, Bluetooth® audio streaming and hands-free phone and text messaging connectivity, plus a 3.5mm auxiliary jack are standard fitment.

Premium

The premium trim at $31,995 adds to the specs of the Base trim with plentiful upgrades.

The exterior enhancements include:

• Harman Kardon® audio system with 11 speakers

Exterior standout upgrades are the 19 x 7.5-inch alloy wheels in dark gray with machine finish.
