Powertrain Comparison

The Impreza Base and mid-tier Sport trims are fitted with a 2.0-liter Boxer four-cylinder that makes 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque.

The top sporty RS trim is powered by a larger 2.5-liter engine producing 182 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque.

All trims make use of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) allied with Subaru's standard all-wheel drive system for confident and reliable performance in all driving conditions.

The introduction of the Civic Hybrid, available in Sport and Sport Touring trims, featuring a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors for a combined 200 horsepower and up to 49 mpg combined. The nonhybrid Civic is now limited to LX and Sport trims, both using a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (150 hp); the turbocharged 1.5-liter engine is discontinued for standard models.

Exterior Design Differences 

The latest Impreza's exterior offers strong, contoured lines allied with a sporty, aggressive stance. The Impreza is built on a 105.1-inch wheelbase and is 176.2 inches long, 70.1 inches wide, and 58.3 inches high, with ground clearance measuring 5.1 inches.

Exterior highlights include LED steering-responsive headlights and daytime running lights, with the two upper trims fitted with fog lights. Black folding side mirrors with integrated turn signals are found on the Base trim, the Sport trim is upscaled to body-color mirrors, and the top dog RS trim is offered with Crystal Black Silica finished outside mirrors.

Handy roof crossbar mounting points are fitted across all trims, plus a sporty rear roof spoiler.

The Impreza can be ordered in a choice of seven exterior colors.

The base trim Impreza is fitted with 16 x 6.5-inch steel wheels with covers, and both upper trim levels get 18 x 7.5-inch aluminum-alloy wheels in a dark gray and machined finish.

The 2025 Honda Civic stands out with its refreshed design. All 2025 Civics receive updated front fascias and new wheel designs for a more modern appearance. Si trim features unique gloss black accents, Si badging, and exclusive wheel options. New color options, such as Urban Gray Pearl, are available for select trims.

Interior

The compact Impreza's modern and practical cabin features fitment of manually adjustable front seats in all trims, with optional heated front seats.

Upholstery is cloth on all trims, with the Sport upgraded to upholstery with red contrast stitching and top RS models finished in cloth upholstery with red accents.

A generous list of interior features includes the likes of electronic cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control system, power windows, and power side mirrors.

The instrument cluster offers a speedometer and tachometer with a 4.2-inch LCD display, and the 3-spoke steering wheel features integrated audio controls. Top-level RS models get a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter handle along with aluminum alloy pedal covers.

Infotainment comprises a Subaru Starlink Dual 7.0-inch Multimedia system or an available 11.6-inch Subaru Starlink Multimedia Plus system on top trims.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity is standard, plus a four or six-speaker audio system, depending on trim.

The Civic is known for its spacious interior with seating for five and up to 15 cubic feet of trunk space.
