The all-new Onyx Edition is in addition to their Premium trim level, and it includes extra black-out exterior components and new 20-inch rims.
Other features include a hands-free liftgate, a heated steering wheel, and standard rear automated emergency braking. These are all features that you can add onto other trim levels, but with the Onyx Edition they come standard.

The 2022 Subaru Ascent might not have a ton of new features but considering everything they were already doing right that's not a big deal.
