What is the MySubaru Connected Services Page?

MySubaru Connected Services is Subaru's personalized owner website and mobile app that allows owners to connect with their Subaru vehicles, monitor vehicle health, schedule necessary services, access owner resources, and more, all with the appropriate subscription.

What are all the services that MySubaru Connected Services offers, and what are the costs?

MySubaru Connected Services is comprehensive, so we will, within our allotted space, share just some of the key features and services of the packages and pricing available to buyers, whether it's a brand-new Subaru or a Certified Pre-owned Subaru.

MySubaru Connected Services offers two sets of plans, so choosing the right plan for your Subaru depends on its model year.

Vehicles with a model year of 2026 or newer will use the MySubaru Companion Plans, while older Subaru vehicles with a model year between 2016 and 2025 are eligible for enrollment with the MySubaru Safety & Security Plans.

Model year 2026 and newer vehicles

The MySubaru Companion Plans are available for brand-new vehicles enrolled within 6 months (180 days) of the original retail delivery date.

MySubaru Companion

This service is available as a complimentary trial for up to 5 years when paying the retail price with a credit card or with a vehicle Finance/Loan.

Standard features of MySubaru Companion include:

• Emergency Recovery Services that include SOS Emergency Assistance, Stolen Vehicle Recovery & Immobilizer, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification
• Over-the-Air Updates for continuous improvements for your vehicle software
• Vehicle Health & Care for Maintenance Notifications, Diagnostic Alerts, Vehicle Condition Check, Service Appointment Scheduler, and Vehicle Health Report
• Remote Access for the Vehicle Locate function.

MySubaru Companion+

This additional package is complimentary for the first year after enrollment.

Owners paying retail with a credit card can opt for a 3-year plan at $199 or a 5-year plan at $275.

Buyers paying retail for their Subaru with a vehicle Finance loan qualify for a five-year MySubaru Companion+ plan at $325.

The MySubaru Companion+ subscription includes all of the above MySubaru Companion features plus the following additional services:

• Remote Access & Comfort offering Engine Start, Lock/Unlock, Climate Control, Ventilated & Heated Seat Control, Horn/Lights
• Subaru Guardian Alerts with functions like Curfew Alert, Boundary Alert, Speed Alert

Valet Mode with Valet Passcode, Valet Mode Passcode Reset, Valet Speed Alert, Valet Pin

• Adventure Management with the convenience of Trip Logs, Driving Journal
• MySubaru Personal Assistant, a human assistant available to use both in and out of your Subaru, capable of answering questions, whether vehicle-related or not. The assistant can research information, handle any inquiries, book services for your vehicle, make restaurant reservations, book a hotel, and find event tickets and more

MySubaru Navigator

Hybrid Cloud Navigation or model-dependent Subaru Live Traffic offers real-time traffic updates, plus advises passengers of any nearby Points of Interest that are sent directly to the navigation system.

The one-year complimentary MySubaru Hybrid Cloud Navigation service is available only on the latest MY 2026 and newer Subaru Outback models.

Used/ Certified Pre-owned MY 2026 Subaru vehicles

Buying a pre-owned Subaru does not disqualify you from subscribing to and enjoying all the benefits of any of the MySubaru Connected Services packages.

When purchasing a Certified Pre-Owned Subaru, your vehicle's VIN must be certified in SubaruNet at least one day before attempting enrollment in the MySubaru Page to qualify for a one-year complimentary trial of My Subaru Companion, which then auto-renews at $45 a year.

Buyers can opt for the My Subaru Companion+ subscription at $7.50 monthly or $74.99 for one year.

New subscriptions or renewals applied for and purchased after the first 6 months or 180 days of ownership will, however, incur additional subscription costs.

The MySubaru Companion subscription is $4.49 monthly or $45.00 for one year, while the MySubaru Companion+ package adds $7.50 per month, bringing the total to $11.99 monthly or $119.99 for one year.

How do I set up the My Subaru Page?

Subaru owners can set up their account on the MySubaru website or download the MySubaru app on iOS or Android smartphones using their email and their Subaru vehicle identification number.
