It's a huge year for the Solterra lineup, with this SUV getting its first revamp since its debut a few years ago. With this new generation of Solterra, you have a more elevated design inside and out, and it appears Subaru has listened to driver feedback because we're seeing many previously frustrating issues no longer a problem.
In terms of design, the 2026 Subaru Solterra gets a new front fascia, lighting, and a new rear spoiler, all to help add a luxury touch to this still-rugged SUV. There are also interior changes, including a brand-new center console design that drivers have been asking for, paired with a 14-inch Subaru Multimedia System with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Performance also changes, with this five-seater now able to travel even longer between charges. It's better across the board.
What is the Range on the 2026 Subaru Solterra?
Another new update for the Subaru Solterra is its range. As of this model release, the Solterra sees an EPA-estimated range of up to 288 miles for the Premium trim, while other trims are estimated at 278 miles. This is much better than before, when your maximum range was around 200 miles. In addition to a better range, the 2026 Subaru Solterra includes the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port for direct access to Tesla Superchargers without an adapter.
